Letter from CEO:

Welcome to MGA. We thank you for trusting us with your healthcare needs. Today, more than 40,000 patients call MGA their home for healthcare.

It is my honor to be part of an organization where hearts still guide our mission and where I am supported by the hardest working and most compassionate employees, leadership and Board of Managers.

As MGA’s CEO, my focus is simple: to help ensure we have the necessary resources and culture to provide exceptional healthcare to you in an environment of trust and compassion.

As for our exceptional staff, we’ve made a commitment to ensure that our staff have the opportunity to grow and develop additional skills to enhance their career success.

The past years, we have proudly served our patients as individual clinics. By now collaborating as one, we’ve built new facilities, expanded our services, upgraded technology and increased our healthcare staff – all in an effort to provide you with a better experience.

Our core values of Honesty, Excellence, Accessibility, Leadership, Teamwork and Help are held in high regard as we strive to meet each patient’s individual needs.

What unites our Board of Managers and 170+ employees is our desire to offer great healthcare so that your improved health makes a big difference in your life.

Our mission is to partner with patient centered healthcare facilities with the central purpose of providing the highest quality of health and wellness to your communities.

Rest assured, you can continue to count on us to come together to do the very best for you, your loved ones and the communities we serve.

 Sincerely,
Billy Houck, MBA
Chief Executive Officer

**History

MGA began when two prominent, local physicians, Dr. Wade Erickson and Dr. Tom Grissom, wanted to serve the emerging healthcare needs of our community in a broader spectrum. One idea was to provide as much of a one-stop service as possible to save people time and travel as well as provide continuity of care. The multi—specialty group idea was birthed in 2012 and after much discussion and consultation with many industry leaders, the idea came into fruition in August 2016. A collaborative team, led by CEO Billy Houck, from across partnering companies developed an infrastructure to establish economies of scale that offset costs and keep more services in Alaska. This continues today with 5 Divisions within the MGA: Algone Interventional Pain and Regenerative Medicine, Capstone Family Medicine, Capstone Urgent Care, Emplower Physical Therapy and Our Doctor’s Pharmacy. We now have multiple locations in Wasilla, Palmer, Eagle River and Anchorage.

**Growth

To fulfil our mission, we do what it takes to help those in need. Alaska is a state that, at times, is behind the curve in technology, accessibility and forward thinking. This is driven by geographical limitations, technological growth and shortcomings as well as lack of access to industry leaders within the medical field. We are constantly considering ways to improve healthcare services to patients through the use of patient portals, tele-medicine, apps, modern facilities, specialists and broader service lines. Our intent is to foster Alaskan growth by investing in local resources to the communities we serve.

MGA currently has over 170 employees, 36 medical providers, 8 separate facilities and the ability to serve our patients seven days a week.

On the horizon, MGA sees the opportunity to partner with imagine centers, tele-medicine kiosks within local business, remote location tele-medicine, mobile Occupation Medicine, skilled nursing and long-term care collaboration with Assisted Living complexes and variour other ventures all aimed to fulfill our mission.
